Users can pick between a 6 or 9-megapixel, cooled, high-quantum efficiency camera with high performance lenses and a moving stage extended darkroom for unmatched sensitivity levels with little background interference.

The whole spectrum of UV blue, green, red, far red, and infrared light is covered by the optional high intensity "HI-LED" lighting gantry, resulting in faster exposure times and publication-quality images. An RGB edge lighting option can also be employed for imaging of 2D DIGE gels.

The system is managed by GeneSys application-driven image-capturing software and includes unlimited copies of GeneTools analysis software.
